In this editorial portraits series, I stepped away from perfection and moved with the flow of the model's mood.
By holding my phone to the right side of the lens, I let her reflection slip into the frame, a softer shadow of herself.
I let go of the sharpness of a "correct" shot on purpose, trading clean detail for movement and motion.
For me, motion gives a photograph a sense of depth, almost 3D, it stirs memories from the past and quietly moves you.
More than a flawless portrait, each frame is a mood caught mid-motion.
